Lake Nipissing Ice Fishing

Our ice fishing season runs from January 1 to March 15 and includes bait (1 doz per person upon check in) in a heated Ice Bungalow.
Our fleet of Ice Bungalows vary in size and can accommodate anywhere from 4 to 6 guests. Also available are daily ice huts which can be rented from 8am to 5pm.
The Ice Bungalows are equipped to prepare and cook meals and have washroom facilities. The Ice Bungalows are heated with propane direct vent furnaces.
Other services include taxi services and ice hut towing are also available across Lake Nipissing in the winter months.
Lake Nipissing Ice Fishing Bungalows
Typically we catch walleye (pickerel), perch, pike and whitefish.
Once you are here, the ice bungalow will be warm and cozy. All ice bungalows have bunk beds with foam mattresses, propane furnace and cooktop, table and chairs, drilled holes indoors and outdoors, transportation to and from bungalow, private washroom facilities. A kettle, some pots and pans, spoon, spatula, toilet paper, paper towels, plastic bin to wash pots/pans, dish soap, garbage bags and a fire extinguisher are also provided.
The lighting in our ice bungalows is powered by solar and provide our guests light for the low light period. A generator can be provided to our customers (at an extra charge) to charge your phone, use a slow cooker, coffee machine or use a sleep apnea machine.
We suggest that you bring the following items:
- fishing license
- pillow and sleeping bag/bedding
- towels
- food and drinks (incl. water)
- paper plates, cutlery and cups
- warm winter boots and winter outerwear/gear
- all your fishing gear (rods, tackle, filet knives, etc.)
- camping chairs if you wish to fish outside
- you are welcome to bring your own BBQ if you wish to do so.
All transportation is provided, unless of course you bring your own.
- Drilled holes are provided inside and outside.
- We supply minnows, a dozen per person upon arrival.
- Extra bait available upon request at local rates.
- We can supply tip ups.
- Washroom facility at huts
- Ice huts are approximately 2 km from base.
